This free A4 Pack contains 8 cursive connection worksheets in the Prima Cursive font. Pages 1–5 provide full tracing rows for entry strokes and short, rounded, arch, and tall-letter joins; pages 6–8 pair copy models with blank practice rows for common pairs, connected words, and sentence flow. It is for learners who already recognize common letters and want to practise continuity, not for choosing between print and cursive or learning a universal school curriculum.

Use this pack when the basic letter shapes are recognizable but the pen pauses at every connection, common pairs break apart, or word spacing disappears when letters become connected.
Scope boundary
When to choose another pack
Use the lowercase alphabet or Adult Print Pack when individual letters are not yet recognizable. Use a style-comparison guide when the question is whether cursive is the right writing style at all.

Separate and repeat entry, exit, and short upward movements before combining them into joins.
Check: Do entry and exit strokes stay at a repeatable height without oversized decorative lines?

Practise direct connections between short letters while preserving both letter identities.
Check: Can both letters still be identified without the connecting stroke looking like an extra letter?

Rounded Join Practice
Keep rounded connections continuous while protecting the open counters inside each letter.
Check: Do o, a, d, and e retain visible interior space instead of closing under pressure?

Stabilize the height, width, and rhythm of arch joins in n, m, and u combinations.
Check: Are the arch counts in n, m, and u distinguishable without becoming crowded?

Check: Do t, h, and l keep a stable tall zone without swallowing the neighbouring letter?

Maintain joins, slant, word spacing, and line-end clarity across complete short sentences.
Check: Can every word still be read at the end of the line without removing spaces to keep the pen moving?
How to practise with the pack
- 01
Start with one tracing page and follow one full row at a comfortable pace without adding decorative loops.
- 02
Mark the first pair where the join breaks, closes a counter, or changes height, then repeat only that pair.

Move to a Copy page after the pair remains readable, and compare the blank practice row with the model above it.
- 04
Use the sentence page last; keep natural word pauses and allow a practical pen lift instead of forcing every pair into one stroke.
Self-check after one short session
- Do connections leave one letter at a repeatable height and enter the next without creating an extra shape?
- Do rounded loops and counters remain open enough to identify quickly?
- Does the slant stay reasonably stable without being forced onto every diagonal guide?
- Are word gaps clearly wider than spaces inside a connected word?
Common mistakes to avoid

Adding large decorative loops before the underlying join is repeatable.

Removing word spaces in an attempt to keep the pen moving continuously.

Forcing every letter pair to remain connected when a practical pen lift would be clearer.
Questions about this pack
Does every cursive pair need to stay connected?
No. The goal is readable, repeatable movement. Some letter combinations or personal styles may use a practical pen lift.
Should I use the slant guide forever?
No. Use it as a visual reference while the pattern is unstable, then compare a custom sheet with the guide turned off.
Is this a cursive alphabet course?
No. It focuses on connections and word flow after basic letter recognition. It does not teach A–Z letter formation or claim one universal cursive curriculum.
